Services
Our Health Care Team
An interdisciplinary team works together to meet the care
needs of our residents. Led by our Medical Director and Director
of Care, the care team consists of a physician, pharmacist,
physiotherapist, dietician, Registered Nurses, Registered
Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers and Recreation
Staff.
We are
pleased to offer our residents on-site access to specialized
medical services when needed. The Georgetown Hospital offers emergency care and
consultation services with a wide range of hospital specialists.
Our Care Model
Our expert Care Team focuses on optimizing
the strengths of each resident to keep them as independent as
possible in all activities of daily living. Family members play
an important role in supporting the resident to achieve their
maximum potential.
Other Health Care Services
The Bennett Centre provides a variety of
other services to meet the needs of the residents. A local
dentist and denturist provide in-house service. The Halton Geriatric Mental
Health Outreach Program offers the services of a Geriatrician
and Registered Nurses who specialize in the management of
dementia. Specialized foot care and audiology are also
available.
Specialty Services
Some of our specialty services include
hairdressing, manicures, wheelchair maintenance, and gift cart.
